Year 2013, when I graduated and moved to my home state, I miss the start-up eco-system of the city. I feel away from the Silicon Valley of India.
Well, reading stories on Yourstory.com definitely provides me with lot of inspiration and motivation. Still the environment is missing.
The start-up forums are very active there and also a lot of events happening every week. In this blog post I will mention few active forums in Bangalore:
Bangalore Entrepreneurs: This a a forum listed on meetup site which has 1769 members. It is a forum of business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. You can visit their Meet-up page here (In case you're located in Bangalore and interested to join the group). Bangalore Entrepreneurs also organises workshops on various topics like Finance, Web Marketing among others for the benefit of fellow members. Thus this seems to be a vibrant group nurturing and shaping entrepreneurship.

Bootstrap @ Breakfast: This is another Meet-up community in Bangalore. Formed in 2012, it currently has 1793 members enrolled on its Meetup page. Also, they have launched their chapter in Bhubaneswar. This group focuses on discussion related to non-funding issues, however they welcome funding related issues too. And yes, this group strictly does only Round Table discussions during their meetups. They are planning centres to be active in Patna and Guwahati too.
Bangalore Lean Start-Up Circle: This is another meetup site listed group having 1045 members. As the name says Bangalore Lean Start-Up, it seems this group focus their discussion on the famous model of Lean start-up.
Well. so if you're an aspiring entrepreneur like me and living in Bangalore, then the above listed entrepreneur community can definitely provide some 'food for thought', constructive feedback on your business idea, venture capitalist's contacts and reference, help in prototype making, and much more. So, step-in in one of those groups and Start-Up.
If you wish to mention some entreprenur community on this blog, do let me know using the comment box.
And yes, reader from Bangalore- Do you feel that Bangalore is India's start-up capital?
